Done with Diapers

We have entered the entirely, too cute world of big girl under pants.

We are officially done with diapers!
(well for one kiddo at least)

I had heard from a number of people that the Lora Jenson 3 day potty training method really worked and while I was skeptical that it really would be 3 days I decided to give it a try. Why the heck not, right?

Whoever this Lora Jenson is, she is brilliant but we already knew that from the way she spells her name. Brynlee took to potty training like a duck to water.
Lora's method is all about letting the kid tell you when they need to use the potty. You never ask the child if they need to go to the bathroom but remind them to tell you when they need to go. So for 3 days we literally camped out in the living room. We watched movies, built tents, played games, did number sticker books, colored, sang, danced and drank a ton of liquids. We filled that sticker chart up fast! It was great!Can I tell you how hard it is to get this girl to hold a sticker chart and take a picture of her, nearly impossible.
In the 3 days she had 5 accidents. Three the first day, one the second day and one the third day.
So we started this potty training thing when Logan was just 8 weeks old and he was a trooper! I can't even tell you how many times I had to quickly put him down in the middle of feeding him to run Brynlee to the bathroom.
I am so glad that we did it and that she was so ready to do it. She did great! It was easy! and her bum is so cute running around the house in her little pink under pants.
