What a fun week!

It has been nice and warm in the afternoons so the other day I pulled out the pool and let Brynlee have a little fun.
She loved it!! We were in the backyard for 2 hours! Brynlee would "dance", which is pretty much running in place, sit, get out and get in over and over again. She was so funny about keeping her pool clean and removed any pieces of grass that happened to get in the pool.

Here they are Grandma's. The debut of Brynlee's pigtails or piggies as Brynlee calls them.
Finally a good picture of Brynlee's smile.
This guy and his many friends were the highlight of the week. We went with some friends from the ward to a farm where they were camping out. We didn't camp but went up to visit the farm and have some foil dinners and smores.
As soon as Brynlee saw the animals she was in a dead sprint to meet all of them.
The farm had lots of horses, cows, goats, chickens, geese, rabbits, and cats. Brynlee was in heaven chasing, petting and saying "Hi" to every animal on the farm. Aimee, our neighbors little girl, liked the cats and rabbits just fine but she wasn't so sure about any of the other animals.
This is maybe a fourth of the barn cats! They were everywhere! Ew...
Camp was set up under some trees on the creek bank. It was a really cool spot to camp! The kids had a blast wading in the creek while the parents set up camp.

OK. That little tutu bathing suit, sooooo cute! And I love the piggies, too! The farm looked like a lot of fun. I tried talking Andersen into it, but he was all camped out from the father/son campout. Dang!

Okay, this might sound a little strange, but I saw your comment about your sewing machine on Make it and love it's blog. I am considering getting the bernette 66 (which is what you listed you have), and it sounded like it does well from your info. Would you recommend it? I am at the beginner/intermediate level in sewing, but I want something I can grow into. I'm mainly looking for basics, with a few decorative stitches. Any info that you wouldn't mind giving me would be great! necklacebliss@gmail.com craftdiscovery.blogspot.com
