Grandpa and Grandma Lancaster Come to Kentucky

Grandpa and Grandma Lancaster finally came to visit us in Kentucky and not because they were helping out with a new baby. They came during spring break and it was AWESOME. We had a jam packed week of fun!

We rented a minivan so we could all travel together. I picked it up in Lexington and drove up to Louisville to pick up mom and dad. What would a trip to Kentucky be without a trip to Henry's Ark.

The next day we went to see Fort Boonesbrough. It was pretty neat and very historical which was right up my dads alley. 

After Boonesbrough, we headed home for dinner and to wait for Daniel and Emma to show up. 

The next day we headed South to Mammoth Cave. Here's a funny story, while planning our week of activities I accidentally bought tickets to the cave tour for the wrong day. So we had some time to kill and took a hike and had a nap on the lawn before we our tour. 

Saturday morning we hit the track for Breakfast with the works. We were a little slow getting there so we missed all of the activities but we got to see the horses get there workout in. 

It was such a fun week and we did so much. Im so glad that my parents got to come out have a real Kentucky experience.
