Yard Sale Revamp

As all of you well know, Bryce and I are poor, very poor dental school students (Well, he is. I'm the mom.) We skimp by on little money, hand-me-downs, homemade stuff and yard sale finds. It is VERY hard, I must admit but, in a weird sort of way, kinda fun. You have to be creative and think out of the box. I picked this puppy at a yard sale after walking by it twice, not thinking of it's potential. It is a window section that is suppose to go over a double door, but I am going to revamp it. I have a few ideas of what it's next life will be, but you will have to check back to see what that will be.
(By posting this project online, I am hoping that it will make me get it ALL the way done in one clean sweep.Bryce hates that I have 10 unfinished projects at any given time. Sorry babe:)

Haha. I am the exact same way. I have about 10 projects half way done. Maybe I will start posting them on my blog as incentive to finish them.

Oooh, I know what I'd do with that!
Some paint and some photos somehow attached behind the glass, hanging over a couch sideways! Or just propped in the corner.
I'm jealous. I've never found anything like this at a yard sale. But I DID score an old window in the alley behind a cool old house in old Boise... one side's white and one side's red, all beat up and everything, so I didn't have to paint it!

I can't wait to see what you do with it!

I can't wait to see the finished project. It brings back such fond memories looking at your place. We loved it there. Can you believe the babies are 4 months? Crazy!! Brynlee is so cute! Tell the neighbors hi!

You are so adorable! How in the world do wonderful things find you? I can't wait to see what you will do with it and how Fed Ex will feel about shipping it without damage all the way to Hurricane, Utah for the Richins' summer gift! Yay! ;)

We know the feeling all too well, but it makes life fun. Well, I'm planning on applying to med schools between California and Texas in the sunshine belt. However, we are just hoping of going somewhere warm, so maybe some bible belt schools would be in order too. Hope all is going well for ya guys!

Hey it's Ashlee from the ward...

The more I get to know you the more I realize we have a lot in common.

Really, Drew gets sick of me bringing home junk and promising him it will be amazing when I'm done:)
